Ok; the main rules of the site. Or; hopefully the main. You do intend to role-play more then chat don't you...? Oh ya; some rules might relate to characters more then role-playing; but their connected anyway.

Use proper grammar and spelling!

Make sure your posts are nice and filling; people spend time on their posts; don't reply with a sentence! Minimum post is five sentences!

Try and distinguish speaking and thinking from one another! You don't have to; but it would be nice if you made your text bold for talking. Like this. Also; I would like to see the different bewteen thinking and speaking! If you wish to stick to something; please make your thoughts italic! Like so.

If something is occuring; such as a fight; you need to have an administrater there to mod! We can't have powerplaying!

No powerplaying or godmoding!(scolds those who do)

Keep role-playing to the proper threads! Don't be cruel to people just because their character beat yours; or because your character is mean!

You do not need to have bio for a Hogwarts character; and a Clan cat. Though it would be nice to see that variety!

Clan cats can understand humans; but they cannot communicate in english. Though; with their more magical complexion; they can make a kind of a crude contact with them in gestures. Though they normally avoid them.

If you are a pet of a witch or wizard; (a cat is actually the only pet you can be) you CAN speak with the Clan cats. If you find them; or they approach you.

Some NPC characters can be manipulated by the multiple users; but don't make them your puppet! Leave the NPCs to the mods.

Centaur NPCs are friendly towards the Clan cats! (Gasp) Though they cannot commune with words; they have an odd understadning with one another.

When taking a class; it can either be specific; or very general where they mention what you are doing; but not a spell. Some clases may be hard to teach(eg. History of Magic, Anceint Runes) but if your character is taking them do your best to use colorful ways to fill the space in what you don't know.

Classes will be taken in general two House groups; and not split by year unless the character is to young to take the lesson.

If you are an optional class teacher; and no one wants to be in your class; fear not! You can still role-play that professor; but you will not have to teach. (nice huh?)

If something is posted in the Daily Prophect board; your character can only know about if they read the Prophet or someone who has told them.

HAVE FUN!!!!

Whew; I hope that covers enough for now.. and a bit of other things besides role-playing.
