Yes; as a first site plot it will be slightly broing; just to get everyone settled in. Once we work through this; I have no idea what will happen!
'Prologue':
Once their home was destroyed; the cat Clans of the forest set out on a great trek to search for a new home. Hostilities remained high amongst the Clans; though they traveled together. After years of searching; the cats finally found a new home. The Forbidden Forest; lying on the outskirts of the legendary wizard school Hogwarts. Living within the tress the cats faced new challenges; for they were not magical creatures. Though that would soon change...
After living secretly for years; the cats started to change. They became more iintelligent; and in one way; magical. The Clans still avoid the students and staff on the grounds; though they now understand where they are. And what the humans are saying.
The downfall of the powerful wizard Voldemort is but a distant memory to the wizarding communtiy, as well as their savior; Harry Potter's death. Life at the school seems to finally have gone to being normal; if Hogwarts could be caled normal at all.
Some students notice the strange goings on behind the dark trunks in the Forbidden Forest; though none can quite place what has changed. House rivalries are still glowing embers ready to burst into a fire; though some have come to accept all the different Houses.
Slipping onto the school grounds with the cover of darkness; the Clan cats are looking for new members. The pets of the students is a great target; and the Clans start competing. Cats are bombarded with requests and information of the Clans; and invitations of joining. Many do go; in search for a new life.
Of course; students can't help but notice their pets are missing. Some say it is rival Houses; but some see through. The forest is taking their pets; rats have turned up dead and cats gone. Is it some kind of new fiend?
Or will the real truth be discovered? Along with the Clans?
(Bum bum! I will accept sub-plots as I see fit, as well as suggestions.)
